Pulse Duration
NANO lasers (Q-switched lasers) have a pulse duration of nanoseconds, while picosecond lasers have a significantly shorter pulse duration of picoseconds. This allows picosecond lasers to deliver shorter, more powerful bursts of energy, enabling faster and more precise treatment.
Treatment Duration
Due to their shorter pulse duration, picosecond lasers can complete treatments in a shorter time, typically within a few sessions. Q-switched Nd:YAG lasers may require more treatments to achieve the same results.
